Before you go on any diet you really need to ask yourself the following questions:

- do I really need to go on a diet, or do I just need to be a little more disciplined about my eating habits?
- would doing the minimum extra regular workouts make more sense than not working-out at all, but eating less?
- If I go on a diet, is my body going to be receiving sufficient minerals and vitamins to sustain itself?

Losing weight changed my life

I weighed 210 pounds when I was sixteen years old. I hated my weight but couldn’t muster up the self-control to do something about it. So I bought most of my dresses in the maternity shops just so I could have some pretty dresses since size 16 clothes were pretty ugly. I didn’t realize it until years later looking through pictures taken of me that the dresses always hung lower in the front since they were dresses made for pregnant women.
